Due to popular demand, the Outlaw Burgers, which were first introduced as a limited time offer in 1999, are back and better than ever.  The burger promotion features the introduction of Certified Angus Beef® to Buffalo’s Southwest Cafe and the return of its signature seasoned curly fries.  Certified Angus Beef will be used not only in Outlaw Burgers, but in other menu items such as the chopped steak and kids’ burgers. 

The half-pound Outlaw Burger is grilled to order and served with a “sidekick” of seasoned, crispy, curly fries.  Lettuce and tomato are served upon request.  For $6.99, try one of the following summer burger specials:  

Tex-Mex Burger – An original favorite!  Topped with queso verde, fresh tomato salsa, chipotle sauce and fried onion straws. 

Blackjack Burger – Lightly blackened beef topped with bacon, pepper jack cheese, fried onion straws and Buffalo’s own Vidalia onion sauce.

 Chili Cheese Burger – Smothered with Buffalo’s famous Wild West Chili, cheddar cheese and topped with crisp fried jalapeno peppers and a dollop of sour cream. 

Mushroom Swiss Burger – A classic favorite featuring sautéed fresh mushrooms and aged Swiss cheese.

 “Outlaw Burgers was one of our most successful menu promotions, and our customers will be excited to see them back on the menu and to also try some of our new recipes,” said Shaun Curtis, Buffalo’s Southwest Cafe’s corporate executive chef.  “We’re also pleased to now offer Certified Angus Beef, which is an outstanding quality beef product.”

While Buffalo’s recent spring season limited time offer, Sundance Salad Specials, was created to appeal to more female diners, Outlaw Burgers are marketed more toward males, 18-58 years old.  Marketing support for the burger campaign will include new radio and television advertising spots in select markets and in-store, point-of-purchase materials such as menu inserts, table toppers and posters.
