CHINO VALLEY SCHOOLS RECEIVE CHECKS LA SALSA FUNDRAISER
Accepting one of three checks presented by La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill to select Chino Valley schools is Melissa Bargman (second from left), a senior at Don Lugo High School. Joining her (L - R) was the restaurant’s Regional Manager Chris Garcia, General Manager Maria Hernandez, and Ian Conacher, a teacher at the school. Two other schools, Ayala High and Briggs Fundamental School, also received grants. The funds were raised at an event held at the Chino Hills La Salsa where customers were invited to purchase menu items and use their discretion to set the price. More than 500 students, teachers and community supporters attended the event. La Salsa donated all funds generated at the event to the Chino Valley Unified School District to be dispersed to select schools.
