Castlegar Boston Pizza guests were invited to bring a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy on December 10th and 11th and receive 10 per cent off their meal.

"The holidays are the perfect time for Castlegar Boston Pizza to give back to the community," says franchisee Linda Maisonneuve.  "In the spirit of giving, the Community Harvest Food Bank Night was our way of helping Castlegar residents in need this Christmas."

Castlegar Boston Pizza collected 150 pounds of food and toys through its food bank night and donated $150 to the Castlegar Community Harvest Food Bank. 

"We are very grateful to Castlegar Boston Pizza for their generous donation," said Deb McIntosh, President of the Castlegar Food Bank.  "Their support will truly make a difference and help families in Castlegar have a happy holiday."

Castlegar Boston Pizza is an active member of its community throughout the year and has supported a multitude of local charities, organizations and sports teams including: the BC Fire Fighters, BC Children's Hospital, the local RCMP Scholarship Fund, the Blueberry School Summer Reading Program, the Canadian Cancer Society, Salmo Public Library, the International Peace Conference, the Community Safety Net, Minor League Hockey, and the Mount Sentinel High School Volleyball Provincial team.
