Chiropractic USA Comes to Phoenix Area in a Big Way

Chiropractic USA, Inc., the largest chain of franchised chiropractic clinics in America, has come to the Phoenix area in a big way, with 14 clinics now operating in The Valley of the Sun.

Michael Gelmon, CEO of Banyan Corporation (BANY), parent company of Chiropractic USA, said that, "In less than a year and a half, Chiropractic USA has grown from a startup to the biggest chain of franchised chiropractic clinics in America, with 14 of those clinics - the largest concentration anywhere - in the Phoenix market."

Preferred Chiropractic Prefers Chiropractic USA

The latest members of the Chiropractic USA chain are six clinics previously known as Preferred Chiropractic, owned and operated by Jeffrey M. Glaus, DC, a 1989 graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. He is a member of the Arizona Chiropractic Society and currently serves on the Board of Directors for "Future for Kids."

"It's very exciting to become part of the largest chiropractic franchise chain in the USA," said Dr. Glaus, whose Preferred Chiropractic clinics have been serving families in the Valley for 15 years.

Seven Other Clinics Also Join Chiropractic USA

In addition to the conversion of the Preferred Chiropractic, seven other clinics have joined with Chiropractic USA as well, according to Dr. Ramsey Gordon, Chiropractic USA's area representative for Arizona and New Mexico.

Dr. Gordon, who operates a Chiropractic USA clinic in Paradise Valley with his wife, Dr. Bev Gordon, converted his practice in 2004, becoming the first Chiropractic USA clinic in Arizona. Chiropractic USA signage will be popping up on new franchisees including Dr. Jeff Raiffie in Scottsdale, Dr. Shaun Malone in Glendale, Dr. Kendall Ereth in Peoria, and Dr. Mark Spaulding with multiple clinics in Phoenix.

'A Healthier Phoenix in the Future'

Chiropractic USA CEO Michael Gelmon said the "concentration of our clinics in the Valley today bodes well for a healthier Phoenix in the future.
