ComForcare Senior Services announces a strategic alliance with the global security firm ADT
|
ComForcare, the leading provider of non-medical in-home care and services to senior citizens and physically challenged individuals, announces a strategic alliance with the global security firm ADT. The alliance is designed to enhance the level of service, safety, and security available to elderly and incapacitated individuals. An agreement between the two firms has resulted in ComForcare's franchisees having the ability to offer ADT's Companion Services® in-home electronic monitoring and communications systems to their senior clients at favorable pricing. ADT's Companion Services product is a two-way voice communications system providing 24-hour connectivity to five national customer monitoring centers. In the event of a medical emergency or accident, the system can be activated at the push of a button, enabling notification of emergency personnel, family members, and others specified by the customer. "The significance of this agreement is the joining of forces with the leading provider of home safety monitoring services, and a leader in the personal response and medical alert devices industry," says ComForcare's Blake Martin. "Through this alliance, ComForcare's trained experts in the caregiving field have the ability to provide the most advanced personal response units in the industry, providing customers with the advantage of both services in a single, seamless system. "We are a full-service provider of non-medical home care, and it's our job to find solutions for families and individuals in need of services, providing peace of mind for people even when they can't be there to take care of their loved ones. We feel that the addition of ADT's Companion Services product greatly enhances that peace of mind." ADT's Mike Sullivan concurs. "This is a good fit for both of our companies, as our goals are the same," Sullivan says. "We want to give the at-home elderly the opportunity to remain longer in their own homes, safely and with dignity. This Service empowers people to do more things without needing to fear possible accidents when they're alone." Established in 1996, the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based ComForcare has rapidly grown to include 29 offices in 16 states. The firm provides personal services such as transportation to medical appointments, errand running, respite care, and daily living activity assistance to thousands of clients nationwide. ADT, with over 6 million customers around the globe, is the world's largest 24-hour security monitoring firm. Source:comforcare.com |
