Denver-Based Indoor Tanning Franchise Adds Carey Coe, Monica Hollenbeck and Nathan Weitl to Executive Tans Family Denver, CO - Executive Tans, a leading national franchise in the indoor tanning industry, recently announced the appointment of Carey Coe as its Corporate Controller, Monica Hollenbeck as its Franchise Development Manager and Nathan Weitl as its Franchise Consultant (National Sales Representative). All three hires are in direct response to the profound growth the franchise has undergone since earlier in 2003. Previously with Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO), a national Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) headquartered in Denver, Coe was a Senior Staff Accountant and has a great expertise in finance, accounting, audit control, general accounting and budgeting. Coe is re-building the accounting and audit systems from the ground-up. She will be bridging the gap between franchisees and the corporate offices - a challenge that is exactly what she was looking for when taking this position. After working as a controller for the Colorado Athletic Club, Coe wanted to lead the charge and complete projects, which is exactly what she's been doing in her first month at Executive Tans. Similar to Coe, Hollenbeck had also been with the Colorado Athletic Club immediately prior to joining Executive Tans as a salon manager. While with the Denver Broncos and Colorado Athletic Club, she was a patron of one Executive Tans salon. Most recently, Hollenbeck has found that her experiences as a salon manager translate to a substantial role within the corporate structure. Her expertise in training, customer relations, communications, marketing and sales will support her current responsibilities with Executive Tans' corporate offices and help her to communicate both the positive and negatives she experience as a salon owner so that the franchise can make greater strides in servicing its franchisees. As a consultant for new franchisees, Weitl is tapping into his extensive sales experience and garnering new franchise relationships. In college, Weitl worked in one of the salons and realized the potential in approaching tanning from the "professional" standpoint. He works with the sales team to convey his belief in the growth potential of the industry and ultimately generating more leads and, strengthening the Executive Tans brand. Weitl is able to provide information for potential franchisees and help them throughout the purchase period. He is an integral part of the sales and team and assists in new salon marketing and customer service for Executive Tans. "We are experiencing a profound growth stage, which necessitated these additional hires," said Smeal. "All three possess dynamic personalities and are capable of tremendous accomplishments; I believe that all three will be invaluable to the organization."
