Express Personnel Services Opens in Fort Washington

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., April 5, 2005 - Express Personnel Services is now open and ready for business in Fort Washington, according to franchise owners Beris Brown and Carolyn Worrell-Brown. Beris and Carolyn will assist local job seekers in finding jobs they want and will recruit qualified employees for area businesses. Express offers full-time recruiting and interviewing, as well as traditional temporary staffing in a variety of fields, including office services, customer service, technical, professional and light industrial. Prior to joining Express, Beris served as an information technology manager at McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals (a Johnson & Johnson company). He has over 20 years of experience in information technology with J&J and Proctor and Gamble. Beris is very active in his church, Boehm’s United Church of Christ in Blue Bell, where he has many roles, including president of consistory and financial secretary. Beris has been a coach for the Plymouth Jr. ABA Biddy League for nine years. In addition, Beris is active in the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and Fort Washington Business Alliance. Beris earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the City College of New York. Carolyn previously served at Family Services as a program coordinator for Families and Schools Together (FAST), a school-based program designed to increase school and family cohesiveness. Carolyn is active in TWIGS Inc., a family centered non-profit organization formed to nurture all school-age children. She serves as TWIGS national vice president as well as a chairperson of the local Montgomery county chapter. Carolyn is also very active with Boehm’s as the vice president of Christian education and a member of the choir. In addition, Carolyn is active in the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and Fort Washington Business Alliance.
