Express Personnel Services Reports 28 Percent Increase in Sales
|
The economy is expanding and worker demand is on the rise, as evidenced by year-end numbers reported by Express Personnel Services, citing a 28 percent increase in companywide sales for 2004. OKLAHOMA CITY, March 10, 2005 - Yearly sales totaled $1.3 billion, with the company experiencing significant growth in several areas. Express opened 58 locations in 2004, with several new offices in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee and Canada. The staffing industry as a whole increased by only 13 percent in 2004. The most significant growth factor continues to be the increasing need for workers. “As companies continue to expand their services, the demand for qualified workers becomes greater,” said Robert A. Funk, founder and chairman of Express Services, Inc. “Businesses are looking to staffing companies to provide additional workers to help them meet their increasing workforce needs.” With 30 locations statewide and nearly 500 offices internationally, Oklahoma City-based Express Services’ client base extends through four countries and employs 300,000 people annually. Today, Express operates three service lines, including Express Personnel Services, temporary staffing/evaluation and direct hire; Express Professional Staffing, contract and executive recruiting and placement; and Express Business Solutions, customized workplace/workforce services.
