Boston Pizza sells more pizzas on Valentine's Day than any other day of the year, making it their most ambitious fundraiser of the year.  Since 1993, Boston Pizza has raised more than $1.3 million for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada to support research, health promotion and advocacy programs across the country.

The heart-shaped pizzas are available in individual, small and medium size and can be ordered for dine-in, take-out or delivery.  "Boston Pizza is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day with the entire family or that special someone," says Mark Pacinda, President of Boston Pizza International Inc.  "Each person can enjoy their own heart-shaped pizza made in any of Boston Pizza's delicious pizza varieties or share one with their Valentine."

From February 1-14 Boston Pizza guests can also purchase a red paper heart for a one-dollar donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.  The sale of red paper hearts constitutes 75 per cent of all proceeds raised through Boston Pizza's Valentine's Day campaign.    

"This year, Boston Pizza's goal is to raise more than $150,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada," says Pacinda.  "Boston Pizza and our franchisees are proud to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation through our annual Valentine's Day campaign."
