Julie Hill Of Microtel Inn And Suits Named 'Salesperson Of The Year'

Julie Hill, general manager of the Microtel Inn & Suites at 2226 Beltline Road, S.W. in Decatur, Ala., has received the brand's 2004 ‘Salesperson of the Year' award from U.S. Franchise Systems, Inc. (USFS), the parent company of the franchisor of Microtel Inn & Suites. The award was presented at the 2005 USFS Franchise Conference in Atlanta.

Ms. Hill was recognized for her creative sales, marketing techniques and extensive community involvement. She serves as vice chair of the City of Decatur Beautification Board and is a member of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce, the City's Economic Development Association Task Force and the Decatur/Morgan County Hospitality Association.

"Julie exemplifies what we envision all of our general managers striving to achieve," said Jon Leven, executive vice president of marketing for USFS. "We are delighted to have such a conscientious leader on the Microtel team."

The Microtel Inn & Suites in Decatur is a three-story, 77-room property.
