Jack Butorac, Jr., president, Marco's Franchising, LLC announced the milestone opening.
Marco's was started in Toledo by Pasquale "Pat" Giammarco, founder, who remains with
the company in charge of concept development and currently has stores in Northwest
Ohio. Marco's is located in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
"We are pleased to have established a relationship with Jimmy Jackson who recognized
the potential and need for restaurants in downtown Toledo," Butorac said. "Mr. Jackson
has made a commitment to business development in Toledo and we are pleased to be part
of his plans."
Butorac, a veteran restaurant executive with high growth chains, recently acquired the
franchising rights to Marco's and plans to double the current number of stores.
The new Toledo unit will offer carryout and will be open seven days a week.
Marco's offers a variety of custom-made pizzas, fresh-baked subs and soft drinks.
