New Drop-Off Service Helps Customers Get Cash for Belongings
|
For consumers who don’t have time to hold a garage sale, but want to turn their personal items into cash, PostalAnnex+ can help. In conjunction with zTradingPost, PostalAnnex+, a full service postal, packaging and business services franchise, will now sell items for consumers on eBay. "PostalAnnex's new drop-off service is designed for people who want to sell things on eBay but don’t have the time or inclination to go through the process themselves," says PostalAnnex+ President Patrick Edd. "Simply bring us your items and we’ll handle the details of the sale and then forward you a check." PostalAnnex+ will value the merchandise and write a detailed listing that will be posted on eBay with a photograph. Once the item is sold, PostalAnnex+ will handle the packaging and shipping, and provide a check for 60 percent of the sale price. Customers can choose from two listing packages. There is no charge for the Basic package, which includes a seven-day listing with a $1.00 opening bid and a gallery photo of the item. For $19.95, the Premium package offers all the benefits of the Basic with an additional three days of listing and the option for a higher opening bid.
