The Extreme Pita Opening Soon in San Diego

(Mississauga, ON) August 2004 - Brett Weiss & Howard Weiss of Speedy Franchising LLC, have joined The Extreme Pita team as Area Developers, for San Diego and Southern Orange County. Speedy Franchising will be opening the first Extreme Pita restaurant in Clairmount Mesa, San Diego in January 2005. Brett Weiss first learned about Extreme Pita when visiting the Scottsdale location in Arizona for lunch. "The store's overall presence was extremely intriguing." says Brett. "Immediately I was captivated by the bright bold colours and hip logo. Once I entered the store I was equally impressed with the appetizing pictures displayed on the value meals and abundant healthy menu options," with 14 pitas with 5 grams of fat or less noted on Extreme Pita's nutritional guide. Each pita is made fresh and customized in front of the customers' with meats hot off the grill and vegetables sautéed to perfection. If you want to get more extreme with your pita, just add one of seventeen savoury sauces like Bistro Sauce, Hot Southern Cajun, Hummous and Tzatziki to name a few. In addition to the great tasting pitas, Extreme Pita offers a variety of thin crust Pita Pizzas, salads, drinks and a new kids menu featuring a new Pita Quesadilla menu item baked with pepperoni and cheese. "In addition to great tasting pitas, every pita is wrapped in a unique consumer friendly packaging allowing customers to eat their pita on the run," says Brett. The Extreme Pita also provides catering services offering a variety of pita platters, fruit, veggie, cheese, shrimp, Mediterranean dip and salad platters. The Extreme Pita Restaurants Inc. has expanded their operations with over a hundred locations, in both Canada and the United States, primarily north of the border. Extreme Pita Restaurants continues to expand the brand across Canada opening 40- 50 stores within the next 12-months and is developing areas in the United States and overseas. Brett Weiss, and Howard Weiss, plan to open 25 - 30 Extreme Pita restaurants in the Southern California area within the next five years.
