Concord, NC (April 19, 2005): Quaker Steak & Lube, the title sponsor of the May 21st NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway, announced today that they will also sponsor the Morgan-Dollar Motorsports #47 Chevy Silverado driven by Tony Stewart. Stewart, the 2002 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, has won two of the last three races he's entered in the truck series and has had great success over the years at LMS. Quaker Steak & Lube, best known for their great variety of wings, will adorn the lower quarter panels and bed top of the #47; and will also have associate sponsorship placement on Dennis Setzer's #46 Chevy Silverado for the event as well. "We're excited to be part of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lowe's," said George Warren, co-founder and CEO of Quaker Steak & Lube, "and to have Tony Stewart representing us in the race is a great added bonus." The unique paint scheme for the #47 Silverado will also include Arista Recording artist Diamond Rio, who will also be singing the National Anthem for the event. This event will mark QS&L's second sponsorship of an event at Lowe's, and their first on a NASCAR Craftsman Truck. |
