In 1992, Ballard Gardner began looking for an easier way to remove trip hazards from sidewalks. Being dissatisfied with the machines that were commercially available Ballard built many machines of his own design. His most recent improvement is the hand held machine and process that is patented.

Now, over twelve years since the company's founding, Precision Concrete Cutting has repaired uneven concrete hazards from over 4,000 miles of sidewalks. Back in 1992, we were just a small local business based in Provo, Utah. We are now a multi-state group of trip hazard removal specialists continuing to expand.
