100 firms in Indian franchise expo

New Delhi: Around 100 companies, most of them multinationals, will participate in a two-day exposition to get an insight into franchise opportunities in India and how to explore them.

Christened "Franchise India 2005", the trade fair beginning Oct 17 at Hotel Ashok, will try to explore business opportunities for both investors and entrepreneurs.

"The trade fair would provide the investors a platform to witness and evaluate several business opportunities under one roof. It will also organise an opportunity seminar to educate visitors on the industry benefits and risks," Gaurav Marya, president Franchise India Holding, the organisers, said in a statement.

Corporates from healthcare, IT, real estate, consultancy, hospitality, educational, food and beverages, beauty, apparels and accessories among other sectors will participate in the show.
