National IT professional services franchise system offers remote Managed Services

CM IT Solutions, the first nationwide provider of IT professional solutions for the small and medium-size business market, today announced the introduction of its Manage IT@CMIT service, offering remote monitoring, support and management of workstations, servers and networks. “Manage IT@CMIT is a strategic shift in the way CMIT delivers services to our clients. It puts a greater focus on maximizing our technicians’ productivity, increases our customers’ return on investment and reduces, sometimes eliminates, the costs associated with downtime,” said Gordon Bridge, president and CEO of CM IT Solutions. “It also gives our customers peace of mind and relieves the uncertainty of downtime/recovery costs by offering them a guaranteed monthly rate for preventative maintenance – allowing them to accurately budget their IT costs.” With the new service, CMIT installs monitoring software on all of the customers’ computers, and are automatically alerted as soon as problems arise. Customers can also report problems online or call CMIT’s 800 support number for assistance. If CMIT is unable solve a problem remotely, a local technician can be dispatched to the customer site. Manage IT@CMIT also continuously collects data through CMIT’s monitoring system which then generates comprehensive security reports. CMIT reviews the reports with its clients to identify user or potential security problems and make improvements where necessary. “By monitoring systems 24-7 and having remote access to our customers’ computers, we can fix many problems before our customers even notice them,” said Bridge. “Manage IT@CMIT is for computer systems, what a regular oil change is for your car. Doing it on an ongoing basis avoids future problems.”Manage IT@CMIT includes around-the-clock monitoring, network management, remote and help desk support, server maintenance, desktop support, performance monitoring, patching, anti-virus updates, e-mail protection and management, software deployments, spam control and tech support. Services are now available and start at $20 per month for each networked computer.
