Buffalos Southwest Cafe Franchise Breaks Ground in Las Vegas

Buffalo's Southwest Cafe restaurant franchise has broken ground on its first Las Vegas Franchise restaurant. The new Buffalo's Cafe is Located at 10082 West Flamingo Road, the restaurant is part of the largest franchise development agreement in the company's history. MARIETTA, Ga., June 10, 2004 - Signed with Works for Me Inc., owned by Drew Alexander and Shelli Lang, the newest location is the first of seven restaurants to be built over the next several years. Expected to open this September, the 7,000-square-foot restaurant will feature 15 video poker machines in the bar. Lang anticipates drawing customers from Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County. The establishment will seat approximately 300 customers, with a 1,700-square-foot cantina area. Their first business together was the Hair Club for Men in the United States. A resident of Amarillo, Texas, Alexander became the company's largest franchise business partner with locations and territories in seven states. Lang was co-owner and director of operations for their franchise. She lives in Las Vegas with her husband. Based in Marietta, Ga., Buffalo's Franchise Concepts was founded in 1985 and has restaurants in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico and Kuwait. The company has new units slated for construction in Arkansas, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Texas. Award-winning Buffalo's Southwest Cafe restaurants offers its world-famous Buffalo-style chicken wings with a variety of flavors for every taste in addition to southwestern-inspired entrees and appetizers. The menu features a variety of specialty dishes as well as mouthwatering steaks, ribs, fajitas, chili, quesadillas, wraps, hamburgers, soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts.
