Buffalos Southwest Cafe Serves Up Salad Specials For Spring

MARIETTA, Ga.,- With springtime upon us, Buffalos Southwest Cafe has introduced a new line of $7.99 Sundance Salad Specials. The spring specials include: Aztec Spinach Salad - Fresh baby spinach tossed with seared mushrooms and tomatoes, walnuts, bacon, bleu cheese dressing and grilled ancho chicken topped with bleu cheese crumbles. Served with garlic bread. Cheyenne Lettuce Wraps - Grilled Adobo chicken tossed with roasted corn, black beans and fresh tomato salsa, topped with pepper-jack cheese and served with crisp iceberg lettuce wrappers and ranch dressing. Sonora Salmon Salad - Grilled or blackened salmon over a bed of mixed greens, tomatoes and bacon, topped with bleu cheese crumbles. Served with chipotle-ranch dressing and garlic bread. Tijuana Chicken Salad - Southwest-marinated grilled chicken over a bed of mixed greens tossed with margarita vinaigrette, topped with pepper-jack cheese and fresh mango salsa. Served with garlic bread. The specialty items will be available until June 2005 in all 37 U.S. Buffalo's Southwest Cafe locations. According to Shaun Curtis, Buffalo's Southwest Cafe's corporate executive chef, "For spring, we created an assortment of light and refreshing items with our unique salads and lettuce wraps. Customer response during testing was very positive." Marketing support for the Sundance Specials will feature new television and radio advertising in select markets and in-store POP such as menu inserts, table toppers and posters.
