A native New Englander, Benney entered the corporate franchise business in 1973, working under Dunkin’ Donuts’ founder William Rosenberg.  During his long tenure with Dunkin’ Donuts, Benney held numerous positions including Senior Training Instructor, overseeing the training of more than 300 Dunkin’ Donuts students per year; Business Consultant, working with franchisees to improve shop standards, sales and profits; and was also responsible for the development of traditional and non-traditional stores, such as colleges, supermarkets, sports venues, and petroleum sites.  In addition, Benney was the recipient of the Sales Excellence Award three years in a row, among other awards.  He holds is a “Certified Franchise Executive” and an active member of the International Franchise Association.  

 Benney will be responsible for the South, Southeast, Southwest, and Western portions of the U.S.  and will report to Chief Operating Officer, Mike Phillips.  He is a resident of Freehold, N.J.
