A Taste Italy at Atlanta Bread Franchise Company has an offering to fit any appetite at any time of day: The hearty Manzo Insalata, which means "beef salad," starts with chopped Romaine lettuce, red onion and tomato wedges topped with sliced marinated Italian beef and provolone cheese, served with a special zesty cabernet herb vinaigrette dressing. For a warm meal, consider the Italiano Panini. Fresh-baked focaccia bread is topped with Italian beef, roasted garlic spread, provolone cheese, pickled onions and sliced tomato. The sandwich is then pressed to create a toasty, melted treat. With cool weather hanging on until during February and March in many regions, Atlanta Bread Company has created its version of another Italian staple - Minestrone Soup. The Bakery Café's recipe is a hearty blend of white Northern beans, carrots, celery, onions, green beans, and penne pasta together in a savory beef broth. For dessert, Atlanta Bread Company has put an Italian twist on a favorite sweet. During A Taste of Italy, the Bakery Café will feature Caramel Ricotta Cheesecake. A delicate graham cracker crust is filled with a delicious blend of ricotta and cream cheeses with swirls of caramel.
