WILBRAHAM, MASSACHUSETTS,- Friendly's Restaurants Franchise, Inc., a subsidiary of Friendly Ice Cream Corporation (Friendly's, AMEX:FRN) of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, announced a re-franchise agreement with NRT Restaurants, Inc. to own and operate restaurants in Findlay, Defiance and Maumee Ohio.

The announcement is part of a continued franchise expansion strategy by Friendly's.  Each restaurant means jobs, tax revenues, and other economic benefits for the local community.

NRT President Norm Perkins, is a 32-year Friendly's employee, having served in many operational capacities, including District Manager and most recently as an Area Franchise Consultant.
