Friendly's Announces Re-Franchise Agreement For Marlton, New Jersey Restaurant

WILBRAHAM, MASSACHUSETTS- Friendly's Restaurants Franchise, Inc., a subsidiary of Friendly Ice Cream Corporation (AMEX: FRN) of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, announced they have entered into a re-franchise agreement with existing franchisee J3F3, Inc. of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. James Yanucil, President, has been a Friendly's franchisee since 1999 and currently owns and operates three Friendly's restaurants in Mt. Laurel, Moorestown and Voorhees, New Jersey. With this agreement, J3F3, Inc. will own and operate the Friendly's restaurant located in Marlton. Also, as part of the agreement, J3F3, Inc. will open three new restaurants in Burlington and Camden counties by 2008. Friendly's Chief Executive Officer and President, John L.
