Leaning on advice from Wendy's Dave Thomas that he learned early in his restaurant career. Dave said "When you are ready to open- OPEN! Don't wait for the so-called "best"-time...So Mitch opened the doors last Thursday September 29th, as soon as the last of the 18 different salad dressings showed up from the suppliers about 2PM. Although missing the noon rush, the first day was a success! And growing stronger every day...

Located on the first floor, about as close as you can get to the Hyatt on Capitol Square. The office building attached to the mall and next to the Ohio Theatre, you can't miss it.

Mick Owens Chief Financial Officer attended the Grand Opening and said "Salad Creations is really Entertainment with food" - You have to see it to understand what he means. The sound of the "chopping" of the salads after you "Create Your Own" Salad, the sound of the chorus of "Thank You's" whenever at tip is put in the tip jar at the cash register, or the loud congratulations whenever a Free Salad is earned (Punch your card and the 9th one is on us!!!), you'll hear the sounds of people enjoying themselves and giving you great salads.

With the success of the Grand Opening Mitch is beaming, even with all the pressures of putting this togehter with all new staff, building out the restaurant, and being the on-site manager, you can see the pride in him that comes through his product.

So, now's the time to head on down to the Columbus City Center, get a salad (or a wrap) and experience what Mitch has built. No doubt, you'll see Mitch in there with his Chef's jacket on (just like the rest of his Salad Chefs) and have them create the salad of your dreams for you...
