NiteLites of Atlanta – The Landscape Lighting Professionals featured in January issue of Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine. The well written article authored by Karen Warren, featured NiteLites of Atlanta owner T.J. Pantano. “Give Your Home the Green Light – Energy saving ways to light your home’s exterior” featured NiteLites of Atlanta owner T.J. Pantano. The article highlighted the advantages of low voltage landscape lighting and the new technologies available to make the outside of your home a safer, more enjoyable place to be when the sun goes down. Regarding solar lighting the article says, “Solar lights operate using solar panels to harvest sunlight, which is then converted to energy for powering the light. While they certainly save on energy costs, lighting professionals say they don’t perform as homeowners want. “We’ve found that they just don’t put out the amount of light people expect or need,” says T.J. Pantano, owner of NiteLites of Atlanta.” The owner also explained that NiteLites low voltage lighting systems are extremely energy efficient and very affordable to operate. The article also references the use of automatic timers and photo cells. “Photocells, which power lights from dusk to dawn, and timers are the two favorite innovations for maintaining a low-voltage system. “Timers are becoming more sophisticated,” Pantano says. With timers, lights can be programmed to come on during certain times or on certain nights, adjust for Daylight Savings Time and be integrated with other systems, such as a pool. “You can set the lights to come on when the hot tub is turned on,” Pantano says.” To read the more about home automated systems used by the architectural lighting company, NiteLites specializes in the production and installation of low voltage architectural lighting for both residential and commercial lighting applications. NiteLites provides many types of low voltage lighting fixtures including outdoor lights for architectural lighting, landscape lighting, patio and garden lighting, deck lighting, submersible lighting for fountains and ponds, and path lighting. |
