2007 has started off with a bang for Bar-B-Cutie® Franchisee Systems who recently unveiled their national and international training center store in Nashville, TN. Bar-B-Cutie® was founded in 1950 and is one of the fastest growing barbecue chains in America. The company has ten stores in immediate development and expects to add over 100 new store commitments in 2007. “We are getting franchise owners that have other concepts and simply want to diversify their portfolio,” said Greg George, Director of U.S. & International Franchise Development. The company has been working with franchisees or senior executives from Arby’s, McDonalds, Golden Corral, DQ, and Domino’s who are excited about the Bar-B-Cutie® restaurant concept. “Training is the key to our franchisee’s success, and that is why we invested to provide a prototype atmosphere for our future store owners,” states Brett McFarland, COO of Bar-B-Cutie Franchise Systems, LLC. “To understand how to operate a successful store, we want our owners to experience hands-on learning that can only be accomplished through training in the actual store arena,” finishes McFarland. The training center is conveniently located 1.2 miles from the Nashville International Airport for easy access to visitors or franchisees in town for training.The company also announced that new regional training stores will be opening in Wilmington, North Carolina and Edinburgh, Indiana early ‘07. The Tennessee training center has been designed with an all new décor package, interior and exterior signage and furnishings, and POS systems.
