Sign And Graphic Center Owners Elected To Fast Signs National Advertising Council Board

CARROLLTON, Texas,- The owner of a FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center in Naperville, Ill., and an owner from San Mateo, Calif., have been elected by other FASTSIGNS® center owners to each serve a two-year term on the National Advertising Council (NAC) board of FASTSIGNS International, Inc., an international franchisor of sign and graphic centers. Shane Beard of Naperville will represent FASTSIGNS® franchisees in the Midwestern U.S., while Dave Skromme of San Mateo is the representative on the NAC board for FASTSIGNS® center owners in the Western U.S. The six NAC board members, all elected by FASTSIGNS® center owners in a specific region, work with FASTSIGNS International on marketing and advertising for the nearly 400 North American FASTSIGNS® centers. Beard, who with his wife, Debra, has owned the Naperville FASTSIGNS® center since 1996. He just completed a two-year term on another FASTSIGNS® advisory committee, the FASTSIGNS® Franchise Advisory Committee (FAC) in 2004. That 10-member group helps provide strategic direction on services and programs and represented FASTSIGNS® franchisees in the United Kingdom and North America. Beard previously served on the NAC from 1999-2003. Skromme, who opened the San Mateo FASTSIGNS® center with his wife, Linda, in 1991, was re-elected to a second two-year term on the NAC.
