Shane Beard of Naperville will represent FASTSIGNS^® franchisees in the Midwestern U.S., while Dave Skromme of San Mateo is the representative on the NAC board for FASTSIGNS^® center owners in the Western U.S.  The six NAC board members, all elected by FASTSIGNS^® center owners in a specific region, work with FASTSIGNS International on marketing and advertising for the nearly 400 North American FASTSIGNS^® centers. 

Beard, who with his wife, Debra, has owned the Naperville FASTSIGNS^® center since 1996.  He just completed a two-year term on another FASTSIGNS^® advisory committee, the FASTSIGNS^® Franchise Advisory Committee (FAC) in 2004.  That 10-member group helps provide strategic direction on services and programs and represented FASTSIGNS^® franchisees in the United Kingdom and North America.  Beard previously served on the NAC from 1999-2003.

Skromme, who opened the San Mateo FASTSIGNS^® center with his wife, Linda, in 1991, was re-elected to a second two-year term on the NAC. 
"Dave and Shane are both very committed to the FASTSIGNS^® network," said Drue Townsend, senior vice president of marketing for FASTSIGNS International, Inc.  "They both know the importance of a strong marketing program and are knowledgeable about a wide range of marketing concepts.  We know that they will make significant contributions to our system."
The other NAC board members include Don Drodge of St. John's, Newfoundland, representing Canadian franchisees; Matt Metcalf of Englewood, Colo., representing FASTSIGNS^® owners in the Southwest; Ann Marie Hall of Lancaster, Pa., representing the Northeast region; and John Mark Stroud of Asheville, N.C., representing franchisees in the Southeast.
