Global TransNet Acquires SimplyFitt

Global TransNet Corp. (GBJX) purchased SimplyFitt, a women's fitness franchise that provides an upscale approach to women's circuit exercise training complemented with Yoga, Pilates, massages, nutritional programs and tanning, plus supervised child care.

SimplyFitt promises significant growth for several reasons. The potential for SimplyFitt is huge because the overall industry size of 39 million club members is growing at the rate of 25,000 members per day or over 9 million per year. The franchise sector of the health club industry has driven largely the phenomenal growth of the industry. Health club companies have continued to report positive earnings, despite the challenging U.S. economy.

SimplyFitt was founded in November 2003 by Roxana Borbeli, ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Her upscale approach to circuit training has gained high reviews with her members. SimplyFitt's first franchise location is in Hollywood, Florida. Now, with GTN, her centers will be franchised across the U.S.
