Golden Corral Franchisee Featured In Business Publication...

Golden Corral franchisee Ratna Yalamanchili, whose three restaurants in Illinois and Wisconsin are among the top performers in the family buffet and grill system, is featured in a national business publication directed toward Indian-American entrepreneurs. Mrs. Yalamanchili's successes in Joliet, Ill. and Bolingbrook, Ill., both near Chicago, and in Kenosha, Wisc., outside Milwaukee, have stimulated keen interest in obtaining Golden Corral franchises in the North Central Midwest region, IndUS Business Journal (IBJ) reported. Her restaurants showcased Golden Corral in an area where the brand was largely unknown and this has attracted potential franchisees, as well as large numbers of customers from budget-minded families, Larry Tate, Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales, told IBJ. "The first thing potential Golden Corral franchisees want is to go to a restaurant and see how well it seems to be doing—see the folks standing in line, see the great product we are serving," he said. Mrs. Yalamanchili and her husband, Dr. Rao Yalamanchil, were frequent guests in Golden Corrals near their home in Kentucky, and it was the great food that prompted Mrs. Yalamanchili to seek a Golden Corral franchise.
